In today’s world, where technology has taken over many of our daily tasks, the demand for faster execution times has increased significantly from us as users. Not to mention the investments we make to ensure that tasks are never delayed or result in long response times.

Unfortunately, many of the slowdowns in devices are due to users themselves. While we demand fast responses from our devices, we often neglect proper maintenance. This leads to longer processing times, frustration, and sometimes unnecessary purchases that result in extra costs.

The slow performance of devices can usually be attributed to three factors:

  1. Hardware wear and tear.
  2. Incompatibility between hardware and the tasks being demanded.
  3. User negligence in device care.

Guess which factor is most common in cases of slow performance?

That’s right… In many instances, we are the ones responsible for our devices not delivering quick response times. The issue often lies in the fact that we ignore the device’s actual capabilities.

Buying the latest model is not always the solution. I’ve seen users with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus Ultra still experiencing slowdowns over time.

It’s important to understand that operating systems typically rely on three key components: CPU, memory/storage, and input/output devices.

This means that if we overload the memory, the operating system won’t have enough space for processing tasks. It will need to wait for the CPU to clear tasks from memory to free up space.

Follow these tips, and you’ll see better performance, reducing the need to replace your device so frequently:

  • Be very selective with the apps you install. The more apps you have, the more storage they take up and the more processing power they require, leading to slowdowns.
  • Clear out large files such as images, videos, or audio that you don’t use. Memes and funny videos can be viewed anywhere—there’s no need to save them.
  • Having too many apps open at once creates chaos in memory and processing. Close the ones you’re not using to notice faster responses.
  • Perform regular hardware maintenance, clean components, and check that everything is functioning properly.

By following these simple tips, you’ll save money, time, and, most importantly, avoid frustration.

Best regards!
